These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your purchase and use of the Yarzu desktop application and website, provided by Mikado International Co., Ltd. (“Yarzu”, “we”, “us”). By buying or using Yarzu, you agree to these Terms.
The license
Yarzu is sold as a one-time license for $49. When you purchase, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Yarzufor your own business purposes. There is no subscription and no recurring fee for the app itself.
You may not:
- Resell, rent, sublicense, or redistribute the app or your license key.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except where the law permits.
- Share your license key publicly or use it to circumvent our licensing.
Purchases, payment, and tax
Purchases are processed by LemonSqueezy, which acts as our merchant of record. LemonSqueezy handles payment, applicable sales tax/VAT, invoicing, and delivery of your license key and download link. Your purchase is also subject to LemonSqueezy’s terms.
Bring your own AI key
Yarzu requires you to connect your own key from a third-party AI provider to generate content. You are responsible for obtaining that key, for any charges the provider bills you (typically prepaid credit you top up), and for complying with that provider’s terms. Yarzu does not include or resell AI usage, and AI costs are separate from the $49 license.
Your content and acceptable use
You retain ownership of the photos you provide and the content you create with Yarzu. You are solely responsible for that content and for ensuring you have the rights to use any inputs. You agree not to use Yarzu to create unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or harmful content, or to violate the terms of your AI provider.
Refunds
Our refund policy is described on the refund page and forms part of these Terms.
Updates
We may release updates to Yarzu. Some updates may be required for continued functionality. We may change or discontinue features over time.
Disclaimers
Yarzu is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free or that generated content will meet your requirements. Content is generated by third-party AI services and may contain errors; you are responsible for reviewing it before use.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yarzu and its suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to Yarzu will not exceed the amount you paid for your license. [Confirm wording against applicable consumer-protection law.]
Governing law
